A game about writing a message you wish you’d received.

A game about writing a message your character wishes they’d received.

If you've ever wanted to get a message from someone and haven't, or you know things were left unsaid, this game is a small tool to help you explore your feelings by pulling hands of playing cards.

It's also designed as a fiction tool for unresolved character relationships.

Inspired by therapy tools, and an old episode of The Heart where host Kaitlin Prest hired an actor to read an apology she wrote from someone from her past.

That's a really short game but with a lot of possibilities thanks to tha table which is clear and cool!

I played "forwards" with a former partner in mind; I'll play again thinking of a former-better-friend and with my brother who I don't see very often anymore (then I'll call him!). So here is my first game:

2♥ - I was showing you my love, and you... you didn't speak a lot.
K♦ - You got me. My true self. The face I usually don't show to people.
3♠ - Why didn't you talked to me more? Why don't you come back? When we met again in the park...
Q♠ - I was hoping you to tell me you wanted us again...
K♥ - I thought you still loved me.
4♠ - We passed through that and we're both now on new more stable relationships. Should we talk again to each other or have you changed too much?
(added bonus) - I know it was better to break up when you moved out and changed your way of life; but what about us now?

Thank you so much for this detailed post!! It's so lovely to see this little game out in the world doing what I hoped it would.
